Well, it's about time.

I have pondered this for a while.  I have spent quite some time writing my story, and it is a seven-page-long document, from the beginning to the end.  I have tweaked it, I have mulled it over, I have pruned it - and then I didn't know what to do with it.  I have sent it to a few people, but otherwise it just sits on my hard drive, staring at me.  I keep thinking, "How can this be something that 'works together for good' when it just sits on my hard drive?"  My Heavenly Father has healed me of significant hurts and redeemed so many broken areas in my life that I need to be able to share that with others, so I have decided to put it here.  All of it... all the 'uglies' as a friend puts it, but also - and more importantly - all the healing words that have been shared with me from God's heart straight to mine, either directly or through others.

I have been reminded over and over how much Daddy God loves me and perhaps you need to know that too.  I have always known that God loves us... 'us'.  All of us... the world.  It says, God so loved THE WORLD.  I didn't understand just how much He loves ME.  He sees me, He knows me, and He loves me beyond all comprehension.  And I'll bet that He loves you every bit as much.

How It Works

This blog deals with the topics of childhood sexual abuse and clergy sexual abuse.  It also deals with spiritual healing and faith.  I am a Christian and God has been instrumental and pivotal in my healing.  In fact, it has been orchestrated in its entirety by my loving Daddy God.  And I am incredibly grateful.

Each facet of my journey is presented in a separate page, so you can follow your interest or you can start at the beginning and work your way through.  To do this, they are numbered chronologically (for the most part).  Links to the pages are on the right on a computer and above in the drop-down list on a mobile device.
